What it is
The squishies haul trend is a filmed shopping bag. You dump a pile of squeezable toys on a table, pick them up one at a time, and hold the squeeze so the mic catches the sound and the slow rise. Creator Search Insights had the phrase at about 3.45 million searches on the September 29, 2026 hot list.
Gianna Joyce is the account Her Campus at Maryland names when it talks about students clearing Five Below and Target for the toys, then filling gaps with cheap SHEIN bundles. Her YouTube clip titled HUGE SQUISHY HAUL opens with "it's squishy haul time."
She lines up three squishy cakes, dumplings she is saving for her little sisters, a big Niceberg, two Dream Drops, NeeDoh cats, a Five Below s'mores, a peanut, and a sticky Taba. A Dream Drop gets a five out of ten before she even meant to start scoring.
In her longer compilation, The BIGGEST Squishy Haul Compilation, she also walks a six-hour store run (Kohl's cheese she calls one of the best she has found, Target, Michaels, Five Below) and ends with one dumpling left on the shelf.
A second lane is the mailbox version. GVO Kids' We Ordered the BIGGEST SHEIN Squishy Haul opens a box of toast, pink cheese, a potato, a peach, butter squishies, and a bead-filled ball, and they stay on each squeeze until the crackle finishes. Ranking accounts cut the best of those moments into short lists tagged #squishyhaul.
There is no locked song. The audio cue is the toy: a slow rise, a sticky peel, or a crunchy bead pop. Keep the mic close and wait out the recovery before you talk. Packs stamped NATO are the tell Joyce and her friend Kira catch on camera, $25 toys that feel wrong and get called fake in the same breath.
BBC Bitesize has covered counterfeit squishies that skip the safety tests on the real product, including a Glasgow warehouse seizure of thousands of fakes, and has said microwaving a squishy so it stretches has burned people when the filling bursts.
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has issued a consumer alert on fake squishies for burns, choking, and chemical filler. Leave the microwave out of the haul.
How to try it
Frame the bag and both hands. Dump the haul in one shot, then pick up one toy. Hold the squeeze through the slow rise or the crackle before you score it.
Pick a lane in the caption so people know which clip they are watching: a store-run rating the way Gianna Joyce does, or a SHEIN open-and-score like the GVO Kids box. Say the number while the toy is still in your hand.
Search pack: #squishyhaul #sheinsquishyhaul #needoh #squishyasmr #sheinhaul, plus the phrase squishies haul trend. Skip anything with a chemical smell, a greasy film, or a box that does not name the maker. Do not microwave a squishy.
