Kai and Rakai Singing Do You Mind Goes Viral
Mentor-and-son stream chaos belting a 2009 UK funky hook until clip pages melt.

What it is
The search spike is one specific stream bit: Kai Cenat and 2xRaKai (the teen Twitch streamer fans call Kai's son) singing along to Kyla's Do You Mind. Clip accounts cut the moment to the chorus, keep both of them on screen, and title it almost exactly like the CSI query.
The track is Kyla's 2009 UK funky / Crazy Cousinz cut, the same hook Drake later sampled for One Dance. Paleface is in that production family, which is why some titles say Do You Mind by Paleface. A Casnova Dub remix dropped June 11, 2026 and put the song back on the UK Singles Chart through July and August, peaking at No. 52. By early September, TikTok named Do You Mind its UK song of the summer after roughly 650,000 UK videos and 500 million views. The Kai-Rakai singalong rode that wave of warm audio plus fresh stream footage.
What you see in the viral cuts: the two of them going hard on "do you mind if I take you home tonight," sometimes mid-car, sometimes mid-house stream. One widely shared TikTok from @tazzze0 is captioned "Rakai and Kai sings do you mind" over the Kyla & DJ Paleface remix and cleared hundreds of thousands of likes. Adjacent posts show Kai getting mad when Rakai keeps singing, or just looping the chorus as a father-son bit. That is the format. It is not a dance challenge and not a random karaoke trend.
Creators who travel are labeling the song correctly (Kyla / Crazy Cousinz / Do You Mind), keeping the duet in frame, and cutting on the chorus so the search phrase matches the audio. If you swap in a Drake One Dance lip sync or a random AMP fight clip, you miss what people typed.
How to jump on it
Format recipe: take a fair-use stream clip of Kai and Rakai on the Do You Mind chorus. Keep both faces in frame, burn in a caption like kai and rakai singing do you mind, and cut before the bit dies. Vertical crop wins on TikTok and Shorts. Use the Kyla & DJ Paleface remix sound when the app offers it.
Angle pack: straight duet repost with song credit; side-by-side with the official Kyla / Crazy Cousinz video; reaction to Kai getting annoyed when Rakai keeps singing. Lead with the chorus, not a random house argument.
Hashtag / search pack: #KaiCenat #Rakai #2xRaKai #DoYouMind #Kyla #CrazyCousinz plus the CSI phrases kai and rakai singing do you mind goes viral and kai and rakai singing do you mind. Credit Kyla so you do not get buried under One Dance confusion. Do not pretend you were in the stream if you are just clipping.

Common questions
- What is the Kai and Rakai singing Do You Mind trend?
- Clip pages are flooding TikTok and YouTube Shorts with Kai Cenat and 2xRaKai singing Kyla's Do You Mind off stream footage. The hook is the duet on the chorus, not a choreographed dance.
- What song are they singing?
- Do You Mind by Kyla, the 2009 Crazy Cousinz UK funky track later sampled on Drake's One Dance. Some titles credit Paleface because he is in that production circle. A June 2026 Casnova Dub remix helped put the song back on the UK charts, and TikTok later named it the UK song of the summer.
- Who is Rakai?
- 2xRaKai, the young Twitch streamer who blew up around Kai Cenat's circle and gets called Kai's son by fans. Their chaotic mentor bit is half the reason the singalong clips travel. CSI and many captions spell it Rakai.
- When did the clip wave peak?
- Late summer 2026. The Casnova Dub chart run ran through July and August, clip pages like @tazzze0 were racking huge likes by August, and TikTok crowned Do You Mind the UK song of the summer in early September.
- Is this the same as One Dance trends?
- Related audio family, different clip. Posters hunting this CSI query want Kai and Rakai on the original Do You Mind hook, not a Drake One Dance lip sync.
